192.168.33.1 Admin Login Router?
192.168.33.1 C class private IP address from subnet 192.168.33.0/24 used for private network IP address configurations. 192.168.33.l also used as the default gateway IP address to access router, Modem, Network switch and any other managed network device to access settings. There are some router and modem brands such as Huawei WS550 Wireless Media Router those are using 192.168.33.1 as the default IP address for first-time access router web interface to initial configurations.

The step is a connection with the router either using a wireless connection or wired connection. If your router support WLAN then you can use any connection option but for non-WLAN cable modem and DSL modem without WIfi can connect only using wired LAN connections.
Access Router/Modem with 192.168 33.1
Unbox your router from the box if setting up new router first time or power on the router if want to access old installed router settings.
- For wireless connection find the default SSID and Password printed to the router sticker for the first-time setup.
- Use a LAN cable to router LAN port to the computer LAN port for physical connections.
- Go to computer/laptop LAN settings and make the “auto obtain IP address” option to get IP automatically from DHCP.

Open web browser and access “http://192.168.33.1″ and wait for load the login page where username and password options to authenticate.
Provide username and password as printed to your router and press the login button.
Once you successfully log in to the router using the default IP 192.168.33.1 now you can set up WAN internet settings as per your internet types such as PPPOE, Static, DHCP, or DSL. You can change your wireless settings password to protect your internet from unauthorized access.
Change Wireless SSID and Password
While setup the router first time do not forget to change the default wireless name and password to secure your Wireless Network. Find the wireless settings option under the menu to update wireless configurations.
Go to Wireless- Basic Wireless Settings
Wireless Network SSID– Change WiFI name for your WiFi network as per your choice.
Wireless Broadcast– Enabled
Wireless Security– WPA2-PSK
Passphrase—create a stronger password for wireless.
Save settings and you will be disconnected from wifi if using Wireless connection to login route settings.
Connect again with the new SSID name and password and log in again for further configurations.
Change Admin Password
Also, don’t forget to change the login password to protect the router web interface from users who use the internet.
Go do the Administration or System or maintenance option depending on the router settings option.

Old password– admin
New Password– create a new password here.
Confirm password– type new password again to confirm.
Save settings and the router will reboot after rebooting check the new password should work and keep it in a safe place. Avoid writing login and wifi password over router sticker or any front side paper.
